Kendall-Leigh grew up in Port Elizabeth and moved to Grahamstown to study toward a Fine Art degree at Rhodes University.
Under the guidance and experience of the lecturers, she practiced a number of different mediums. She took a keen interest in drawing and photography in particular, and moved on to specialize in photography.
She obtained her degree and moved to Cape Town, where she is now based, specializing in time consuming pastel and charcoal drawings of nature and the human figure.
She has been part of several group exhibition since the start of her career in 2013
