Craig Meyer

Born in Hermanus in 1989, Craig matriculated from Hermanus High School excelling in Art and Design. He achieved an award for attaining a distinction putting him in the top 3 art students in South Africa in 2007.

Craig’s career was focused on digital media and design until 2013. After years of creating logos and websites for clients, Craig had the opportunity to change his career path to sculpture and started working as a 3D prototyping technician. His days were filled with assisting many artists to upscale sculptures using 3D scanning and digital sculpting technology.

He regularly worked directly with well-known artists helping in the sculpting process to final product. This instilled in Craig his love of traditional creative artmaking and working more hands on with many different mediums.

In 2018 Craig decided to follow his dream of becoming an independent artist.
