Ashok Kore
A professional pencil artist since 2021, Ashok Kore left his BTech studies to pursue his passion for pencil drawing.
Born on December 11, 1999, in Hyderabad, India, Ashok grew up in a farming community. From an early age, he knew he wanted to be an artist—a journey that led him to the medium of graphite.
Utilizing graphite pencils and powder on 300gsm Arches cotton paper, he practices a dry media layering technique to achieve incredibly detailed, surreal compositions.
His work resonates with social commentary wrapped in a dreamy, fantastical reality.
He has participated in group shows in Europe, and from the outset, his works have been collected internationally.
Rossouw Modern signed him exclusively in August 2024.
